Good computer parts store, decent range, decent price and pretty quick to ship items out.. Have used them numerous times over the years and have no reason not to give them 5 stars.

Where to start with this company, so they were appointed by our insurance company to repair fire damage to one room and outside house...

I was unhappy with the quality of work and called the national construction manager who was also my site manager, his response to paraphrase, was it is an insurance job they are done to a lower standard. Shame the policy isn't written like that. At first I blamed the insurance company but that changed.

One example of the areas to fix was the burnt joists and rafters, according to the scope of works the insurance company provided (done by independent builder) the burnt beams were meant to be removed and replaced. JP Flynn just laminated pine to the existing burnt beams. When we approached him about this he explained the scope of works is just an estimate and isn't set in stone and the quote they did and structural plans were based on not replacing it...

So I contacted the insurance company, they assured me he did quote to replace them and was doing something cheaper and hadn't even passed the saving back to them. I then found the original customer agreement and lo and behold everything burnt was meant to be removed and replaced... They told me they had instructed him to do what he quoted (remove and replace 4 rafters) second time around he didn't, he cut burnt sections out of 2 of them (the worse ones) and reinforced.. sigh...

It goes on and on, I could write a book on the corners cut and things in the scope of works and customer agreement I and JP FLynn signed that he found 'cheaper' ways to avoid doing, like stripping back bubbling paint on asbestos eaves and repainting them that in the customer agreement he was meant to replace (this he did do the second time around after my complaint) but you get the drift.

If an insurance company every tried to use this builder I would ask for an alternate.

Interesting all the 1 review history people giving 5 star reviews..

We had a 9KW LG and SolarEdge system installed by these guys about 2 years ago, couldn't be happier with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail. They are a quality installer IMHO, the only negative is they are a bit pricey, but in this case at least you get what you pay for.. If we ever needed a solar install again in the future I would use them again without hesitation.

Very happy with these guys, great product which has held up really well over the 8 years we have had it, recently they did some extra stuff that needed to be fixed (due to house fire) and all looks great again! A++

Made the mistake of booking a silver top taxi to airport, booked to pick us up 1.5 hours before flight so had an hour to check in and not stress (30 minute journey).

Got a call 15 minutes after they were meant to be there, he was still at least 15 minutes away, do I want to cancel?

Well no because what do I do now? I still need to get to airport, and now 15 minutes after they were meant to pick me up.

So 20 minutes later he got there.. was a rush and stressful but made it.. but seriously the whole point of booking the day before was to avoid the stress, I didn't expect them to be 40 minutes late..

To top it off it was really expensive and the cab was filthy, worst I have ever seen.

There is a reason the taxi industry is dying at the hands of uber. And silver top is it, how do you hope to complete if you're more expensive, late and filthy?? Maybe this is just their death throes.

Little annoyed with this company, I was looking for a matress and had the week off two weeks on so I contacted beds online as they had the one I wanted apparently in stock.

I emailed then spoke to them before placing my order as I didn't want to have to take an extra day off work to wait around for a delivery driver, specifically asking if it was in stock and could be delivered in that week two weeks on..

They said their delivery is 7-12 days and I can always delay it a few days if it is early so it would not be an issue and they would take the order on the phone and immediately send it through...

Three weeks on, NOTHING, no bed and no contact..

I ordered an LG monitor back on the 12th Oct, it stated 'in stock' but I heard nothing (just said "transferring from warehouse") so I called them up on the 23rd to find out why it hadn't even shipped yet if it was 'in stock'. It turns out it isn't 'in stock' with them, but with their supplier (apparently that is now what we call in-stock) and they are having trouble with that supplier at the moment, but no-one bothered to contact the customer and suggest a change until I called them.

They then suggested I choose a different monitor but apparently Samsung and Asus that also say in-stock will have the same problem and the only one I could get in a 'reasonable' time-frame is benq.. Fine I was over it and said just change it to the Benq, which they said I would have by Friday (25th). I should have cancelled the order as of course nothing arrived and on the 30th I contacted them in the morning and they said they would call that supplier to find out what is going on and call me back, they didn't call back.. I guess they have trouble with all their suppliers? :-/

I think it is dishonest that in-stock now doesn't mean Warcom has stock, just that it is *hopefully* available for them to order from their supplier?

They are OK if the product is in stock the problem is they appear to say 'in stock, fast shipping' even when the item is out of stock.. I even paid extra for express post and nothing sent, I contacted them and got the runaround and no admission of the fact it was not in stock, despite my direct question..

I contacted them again on phone and got them to admit the warehouse is actually waiting for stock with no idea of when it will arrive... Of course on the website it still says "in stock, fast delivery", I requested a refund and they said it will take 5 days to process..

Yeah great company...

Ordered an item that said in bold red attention drawing text "available for immediate shipping" but I later realized it was in fact 'out of stock'.. So I tried to contact them to cancel the order 'no hard feelings'.. But they are uncontactable, there is a phone number but it is just an answering machine not a real phone line even during their listed 'business hours'..

They never got back to me via email or phone but after I issued a paypal dispute to get their attention they sent me an automated email saying my money had been refunded (less a $10 processing fee, that's nice considering their misleading claims), but as yet despite the email saying the refund was issued the paypal payment was not infact refunded..

Guess I just have to wait for paypal to sort it out and in the meantime let everyone know what this "business" is really like..

UPDATE:

Well that was a mess they have gotten back to me saying the notice that my order was cancelled was in error and they had communications issues last week which is why no one contacted me back... In the meantime I ordered elsewhere and lodged a paypal dispute, hoping they just follow through with the cancellation now...

My problem with CGU comes when you have a hit run driver who damages your car and drives off...

CGU will require you to take an at-fault claim and pay your excess regardless of the circumstances if you don't have the drivers personal details.. Rego and police report are not enough for them, you apparently have to be the investigator and find the details out, very difficult as police won't give them to you due to privacy reasons..

NRMA and RACV are the same, best to avoid and stick with similar priced AAMI based cover as they will accept a police report and rego..
