This is my second bad experience here. I really don't know why I went back. This female doctor is not at all interested in finding out what the problem is. It's odd to explain to a doctor that you are tired enough not to be able to move from your bed for 35 hours, every weekend and in bed from.2pm each afternoon and get no help. After telling her I go to Tristar regularly but no specific doctor my answer was discuss it with your regular doctor. . Ummm? What? Asked for help on another issue and was just asked is that all and sent on my way without any discussion of how to solve the illness. I truly don't understand how these people can think themselves healers when you leave more confused than ever and left alone to figure out how to fix your body. That's their job! Go ANYWHERE else!!

I tried these guys after being disappointed by my old favourite and I'm so glad I did. I think I've found the best in Ballarat! The potato cakes were so crunchy and fresh. Perfect. Phone manner was lovely and polite. They also greeted me with a smile and took the time to open a conversation with me.

They also have something I haven't seen before. It's called milk and it's pieces of fried condensed milk tasting product with cinnamon on it for only $2! Good value and something interesting to try.

So nice to get good, polite service as well as delicious food.

I ordered 2 potato cakes ahead and was told 15 minutes wait so I filled up my car with petrol and then plain forgot I'd ordered them and went home. Super tired, messed up that 1 for sure. Fell asleep and woke up to a rude message from them not to bother ordering ahead as I always do and never have forgotten before. Rang to apologise and admit fault, said I would come in to pay of course as it were my fault bug but told them I didn't appreciate being spoke to like that. it wasn't necessary to be rude to get payment for the items. Fellow worker was of the same opinion, I should only see it their way, which I agreed that I did repeatedly and again mentioned I would honour my order but attitude kept coming at me. How is it that it's my fault that other customers have repeatedly not picked up their orders, then not honoured the payment?guess what, it's not! Why would you put the right kind of customer on the offence like that? The one who returns your call and offers payment. How about next time you speak to me with respect on that first call (or even the second) and give me a chance to do the right thing before you get so peeved? Really disappointed in your attitude but again totally understand how awful it is for you. If the problem is that big that you push good and regular customers away then for goodness sake take payment for pre-orders and drop the attitude.

The corn jack was cold in the middle last time we got it, the potato cakes are fat and sometimes a little uncooked (nit always) because of the thickness but the batter is amazing, truly amazing. Generally these ladies are nice so give them a chance and see what you think.

I called repeatedly about a part they were getting and they kept saying it was coming. In the end I asked if they were actually going to fix my car and was told no. What the hell? I could've had it done elsewhere by the time I was forced to ask that! they also dinted my number plate on my partners car that got serviced on the same day & never admitted it. they obviously parked them too close to each other. It was ok for a while with them but they're not to be relied on.

This is my favourite of all the drop in massage centres in Ballarat.

The staff are always polite, quick to serve you and its so convenient that I dont have to book ahead. I can pop in anytime for therapy. I find that this massage actual relieves my sciatica more than any other therapy ive ever had. Not to say it cures it, but it gets me moving without stiffness and a lot less pain. I also find it relieves a very stick neck and shoulders when I get the neck and shoulders massage.

Only problem I have ever had is a fairly recent one when the staff are chatting to each other the whole time through the massage, this makes it very hard to relax and enjoy the treatment but it is not something that I normally come across here and I have been going here for years.

I find the foot massage mostly just a soak with just a little massage at the end, which seems not worth the money. More foot and leg massage would be nice.

The 90 minute treatment is so relqxing I come out feeling dazed I am so relaxed, its heaven if you can swing the price, which in comparison to any other massage place is rather cheap but its a luxury.

Thanks Sam for the great service and incredibly relaxing and healing treatments. I am always happy to pay for your work.

Im 42 years old so have dealt with numerous real estate agents over my lifetime in ballarat and I can tell you I have never been inspired to say anything nice about one before!

I am a renter but I actually get treated with the full respect I only ever imagined was saved for the owners as usually I find it difficult to get call backs, emails answered, repairs done or at the very least communication in regards to the above. this place is genuinely different.

When I first moved into this place a few years ago, the old tenants hadnt communicated any of the problems as they came up because there was a lot that needed attention (little things you dont usually notice until you move in). this is not the real estate agents issue.

I made a list, it was a lot of little things that needed attention but would cost money to repair. Ok, so I didnt get a response to that quickly so i re-submitted a list of 4 - 6, they were attended to, then did the same again and again until it was all done. It took about a year but not one of those items were urgent. They attend to those immediately! This is the only hiccup I ever had with these guys. I imagine this couldve been more the owners reluctance but clear communication in regards to these repairs was not made initially with the big list. From then on, I have had nothing but frequent emails, phone calls or whatever it takes in regards to keeping the house running PERFECTLY! I couldnt be happier and I know that I can rely on them. Their attitude towards my living conditions being ideal makes it easy to hand over my rent money. I get treated so well!

After a few years I have built up a rapport with the lovely staff here, despite that they usually only hear from me when I have work for them! They even let me know when they are acting on something but dont actually have a solution yet. What real estate agents ever does this? I now know the company policy is to treat renters as equals to the owners and I am amazed and astounded by the respect I am given by them. I ve never felt that I can approach a real estate agents office before so easily and be taken seriously. I know that when I am ready to buy I would never look to anyone else, I also frequently recommend these guys to anyone looking for a real estate agent.

And I always get a smile when I go in to see them. This is the icing on the cake, thanks to everyone, its one less stress in my life to know that when I pay my rent, I get what I deserve in return. A beautiful, well looked after house which makes it feel more like a home, thanks for that blessing!

I have been going here for years. I usually ate here once to 4 times a month. The last 6 months i have begun to have regular problems with them. Every second takeaway dish would leak about 1/6 th of its sauce through to the takeaway bag. This was frustrating but I dealt with it. I order a special dish so the price often changed, this whilst not ideal, did not bother me a lot. They occasionally got my order wrong but I dealt with it because it is very tasty. They also dont listen when I say not to use paypass when I am paying, and have just done it anyway twice.

2 weeks ago I ordered my usual (I get it EVERY time). I ordered butter chicken gravy, no meat with garlic naans as dippers. I rang the order through and because this order is frequently enough made wrong (with meat - im a vegetarian) I said 3 times, no meat, just gravy just to be certain we understood each other. I felt a bit rude repeating my order to the gentleman on the phone but I was tired of having to drive back to get it changed, although its not every time by any means, every time it happens, it frustrates me. He read it back correctly and told me when to pick it up. I picked it up, paid for it, got home and it was wrong AGAIN. It had chicken in it, in fact a lot of it so not much left for me to actually eat so I rang them. I spoke to the same gentleman on the phone and told him it was wrong, he did not apologise, I told him I said it 3 times and despite the fact I was still willing to be reasonable with these guys (it was my most regular take away) he hung up on me within a minute. I rang back in shock and asked him if he just hung up on me and all he had to say was , well, we do not normally do this dish like that. I then told him unless they have changed hands I had been going there for years and its all I ever get. Still no apology, or an offer of delivering out the correct dish but at least he did not hang up on me this time. he said , well, do you want to come back for another dish?

I told him I was feeling too frustrated this time to return and rang off.

I wonder why if they did not want to make it the right way, they did not tell me when I ordered it on the phone, or when i picked it up, or why they said they dont do the dish I have been getting there for years! I give up on this place.

I have since gone back to the ballarat indian restaurant in eureka st, and they are so much more polite, my meal is $4 cheaper, they discount for the lack of meat, which a lot of restaurants do when I order this any town i go to. their food also stays in the container until i get home. I will never go back there again. My friends and I go out for indian food every now and then as a group, and Im the only one who ever fought to go back to this place, despite the fact that they have all tried their food. they all have other favourite indian restaurants and now Im just another customer they have lost!

If you ever read this Curry Star and learn anything, its not to hang up on a customer who just wants what she ordered. That was so rude and unprofessional! Get your act together!

The customer service here is amazing! Friendly and professional but relaxed staff members who are up for a laugh in a heartbeat. Very, very pleasant atmosphere to be in. Only issue as always with this business is the tiny shopfront where only 4 people lining up can have you being hit by the door which is really hard to see through so customers do accidentally hit you with the door as they come in.

I love these guys. It was the easiest thing to set up my insurance online without the hassle of a phone call and queues. I have been iwth these guys for 2 years and have had nothing but an easy time of it even when I had to claim,

A new note. After being with these guys for 2 years my insurance jumped up a large amount so I got 2 other quotes and there's was way overpriced. I called them, they originally tried to throw me off with policy comparisons but when they realised I was about to hang up and not renew, they put me on hold and came back with a price match. These companies rely on us relaxing, being too tired to notice or care about checking our price hikes. It saved me a lot of money by paying attentire to what I was paying.
