When my partner and I walked into Stony Creek Gallery, we were thrilled to find Michael Parker himself painting in the corner. It was a very personal experience. He offered us champagne while we admired his work. I bought my first painting here... I was just mesmerized and what service! Michael drove down to Melbourne to hang the piece on my wall personally! He cares about his work and he's thrilled to see them go to good homes.

Hospitable, friendly... an artist. The man at Da'Vin hair studio really takes pride in his work. You won't leave this place unless he thinks you're hair is perfect and he loves to educate his customers about how to take care of their hair. I always thought a hair dresser is a hair dresser... but I can't bring myself to go anywhere else now... his passion is obvious and it's good to know that the person styling your hair, really cares how you look when you walk out.

The parmas here a HUGE! They practically hang off the plate, but they taste reasonable and are reasonably priced. I love their calamari and chips best of all and they also make a mean warm beef salad. Their unique wedges with salsa, spring onion and cheese are deliscious and it's just a nice comfortable place to catch up with friends.

Yum! Yum! Yum! I've bought a hamburger with the lot here for around 5 dollars before. That's value! And their parma packs are one of my favourites. Somehow they manage to make you take-away parma with chips, greek salad AND coleslaw, that tastes great and still only costs under 12 dollars. I struggle to finish it. They've been around for years and their staff is really friendly.

My favourite pizza in the world! My family has been getting their pizza here since I was just a child and I don't remember ever really being let down. They just taste unlike any other pizza and I'm yet to find their match.

Unfortunately, the only thing that let's these guys down is their inconsistent service. Sometimes it's satisfactory and other times you can be completely ignored and get so sick of waiting to be noticed that you'll walk out before your meal ever arrives. The fact that I still go back their after all that really says something about their food. I can't resist. Their breakfasts are amazing... I don't have to eat for the whole day when I have breakfast here. It's loud and fun and a well decorated, set out eating area. Their caramel lattes are great and you can practically order your own custom breakfast. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

This is a night you won't easily forget. The chef will dazzle you with his skill as the food is cooked right in front of you! Their speed and efficiency is amazing and I couldn't help but stare! The food tastes great and you will laugh and laugh. I couldn't even finish all the courses. It might be expensive but it's something you just have to do at least once for a completely diferent dining experience

Go to Bridie O'Reilly's in Brunswick on a Friday night and you will encounter, good beer, good music and good company. If you're after conversation, the beer garden is comfortable, enclosed and a great place to meet people. On the other hand, if you're feeling a little more energetic, jump on the small dance floor section and sing along to the band. The company here is always merry and the memories are fond.

This review is for Il Caretto, Carlton VIC

A family restaurant that has all the charm of old Italy stuffed into every nook and cranny. It's name comes from the old cart that still sits inside the restaurant. If you look around, you'll see that some of the chairs have the names of famous people written on the back of them. These are the people who have eaten at Il Caretto and those are the chairs they've sat in... It's proven by the large photographs on the walls. Pizza, pasta, seafood and a family atmosphere is what you'll find here and for what you get, the prices are extremely acceptable.

This review is for Frank's Seafood Bistro, Niddrie VIC

Frank's food is exquisite and the service is exceptional. You'll find Frank himself occasionally wandering around the restaurant and making sure all of his customers are happy. Yes it's crowded and no it's not cheap... but it's certainly worth spoiling yourself and some family, friends or a loved one at Frank's Seafood Bistro once in a while. There's a reason why this place has been around for over 30 years and if you haven't experienced that reason for yourself yet, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
