A very welcomed surprise to drive through the gates into a tranquil paradise which felt secluded from the rest of the world, even though only being within short distance of all the recommended places to visit at Mt Tamborine. All of the staff provided an amazing service (nothing short of brilliant) and the food was homely and pleasant. The cool weather allowed us to enjoy the comfort of the fireplace in a well set out room. It was great to spend some quality time with my wife during the short period of time I had back at home in Australia prior to heading back over to the Middle East, glad our night away was spent at the Escarpment Retreat.
