This review is for Stapleton's Family Meats, Gymea NSW

Yes, it's more expensive but it's a case of you get what you pay for. Quality cuts of meat. My favourite thing about Stapleton's is the service. The staff are more than happy to have a chat to you about what type of meat to choose and offer tips on how to cook it. It's good old fashioned service with a smile.

I judge breakfast at a café based on it's poached eggs. The poached eggs here were Amazing as was the deliciously delicate bacon side. The coffee was also great. This place gets packed on weekends - for good reason - it is great, so be prepared to line up or try and check it out mid week. Alternatively grab a takeaway coffee and take a stroll along the waterfront.

This place is great value for money. It's not so much the 'relaxing' salon vibe with chilled out music - it's a quick in and out with the radio blaring, but when the prices are as good as they are I don't mind.

This place is great for Sushi! It's not the sort of place you would dine in - there are only a few small tables along the wall, but if you are looking for quality takeaway sushi with fresh ingredients then this place won't disappoint. There are also lunchtime specials.

This review is for Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar, Gymea NSW

You will never go back to one of the other pizza chains after tasting crust. Beware though, this place gets very busy, so order ahead of time or pick up rather than get home delivery. There is also an iphone app for ordering which is good.

This review is for Georgie Porgies Cafe, Miranda NSW

Definitely the place to go at Westfield for your caffeine fix. Georgie Porgies use The Grounds coffee (of the Grounds at Alexandria). The Baristas produce quality coffee and the food menu is reasonably priced and interesting. Seating has been a problem - it is often crowded, however the recently added extra bench tables are a welcome addition, particularly for those with prams. Great friendly service too.

This review is for Bianco Nero Espresso, Gymea NSW

Bianco Nero is a funky little Café bringing a bit of the inner city to Gymea. There are both indoor and outdoor dining options with a relaxed inner city café vibe. Best coffee on the Gymea Bay Rd strip.

One of the best salons in the Shire in my opinion. I've had a number of the stylists now and have been happy. It's a larger Salon and it is always busy, which is a good sign! The new premises are modern and funky and there are always plenty of current magazines to enjoy along with your free coffee.
