I have been going there for years and the food is consistently wonderful.

Steamed Pacific Oysters are a great starter, Win's own Deep Fried Almond Chicken (Not a sloppy vegetable dish, but a flattened chicken encrusted with Almond Flakes) is a personal favourite. His Ma Po Tofu is tasty and great value. Enjoy Beef brisket Clay Pot, Peking Spare Ribs, Salt and pepper Squid and Stuffed Capsicum and Tofu in Black bean Sauce and you've got it made. All of this, with steamed rice, will feed four or five people handsomely.

There are plenty of other wonderful dishes on the menu and Win's fresh cooked Snow Crab is a particular favourite amongst them all.

Go to share with friends an amazing banquet of your own choice, very different to the banquet menu's of your regular Chinese restaurant. Sharing these great flavours is what adds to the authenticity of this great treasure hidden back from the main road.

Have a great night out and don't break the bank in the process

Approximate cost: $15-20 a head the more people you bring the lower the cost seems to be.

This Unassuming little restaurant provides an authentic match of both Indian and Malay food. With Formica tables and chairs it may not look much to the casual passer-by. But, the food and service surpass all expectations.

Jessie works hard in her small kitchen to provide authentic flavours while Jai, her husband ensures that the customers are well looked after.

This little suburban gem has become extremely popular and booking a table on Friday and Saturday nights is essential.

Try Jessie's lamb curry, her Dosa and her wonderful Dahl. You won't be dissappointed and you won't be hard hit in the hip pocket.

Sharing all the meals between a group of friends is the best way to enjoy the experience, as well as the range of flavours. (Don't be a stuck up westerner ordering your own main, they will gladly serve you this way. But you're the one missing out.) Make it a banquet.

Approximate cost: $15-20 a head the larger the group the lower the individual cost becomes
