This is an Australian made dog food. I try to support our country's industry but I was disappointed. The price is average, that is not cheap but not particularly expensive. It is quite different to look at from most dry dog food as it is not pellets or kibble but resembles biscuit factory sweepings dyed red BUT I am NOT saying that is what it is. In fact the company stresses that its product is 100% natural, with
no preservatives nor artificial colours added and it is high in vegetable oil and made from human grade ingredients without
offal.

For me it proved to be a waste of money because my dogs refused to eat it. Anyone who has a Labrador like me will know the breed is renowned for “eating anything”. (As a result they are often the victims of snail bait.) To turn up the nose to any kind of food is unusual.

While the kelpie stud used in promotional material gives high praise to the product, I'll not be buying it again. The company advertises that it also produces vegetarian dog biscuits.

Maybe this glitch will be rectified but I was not able to log onto their Internet site nor send a message to inform them of my disappointment.

Servicing and repairs and products. Happy to have a chat, never hard sell, with business coming from all over doesn't need to.
Their speciality is classic bikes - sourcing parts and custom building.

This is where I go for most of my building supplies. There is paint, timber, pavers, tools and professional knowledgeable staff. Although it is on an awkward corner the drive in and through is easy and there is plenty of parking space. The goods are displayed clearly and easily accessed. I have been very happy with their products so far and I have been shopping here for a number of years, although not as long as it has existed as this locally owned business was opened in 1912.

With a nice open, bright, clean looking showroom, that is easy to find, with parking nearby this business ticks all the important boxes for me: a range of products, a range of prices, knowledgeable conscientious personable salesman, and no hard sell.

The business offers locally manufactured wood heaters; I did not see the second rate imported versions but did not think to ask if they were available through this business. I hope not. I want to see Australian products and industry supported.

Possibly I got good treatment because my requirements add up to a large sale of big ticket items and I have no idea yet what the returns policy is like: I hope never to need to return anything.

Although I'll reserve judgement on how good they will prove to be, especially should I have any problems, I am pleased with my experience so far.

One of my children has been taking lessons with RACV and we are happy with this service. My student driver continues to look forward to lessons and has growing confidence. The particular instructor is in high demand which is indicative of the level of satisfaction others must have too.

This review is for Rainbow Power Company Ltd, Nimbin NSW

In 2007 this company sourced Kyocera 130W Solar D-Blue Triple Bus Bar Panels; a Regulator with LCD display; and Trojan deep cycle batteries and supplied them to me for use in a stand alone system. Over a number of years, before solar power became fashionable, I have had several versions of solar panel. The ones I have now continue to give good service despite being exposed to some cataclysmic weather. It has been a case of put them up and forget. All my power needs have been met. Occasionally I remember to wash them when it is dusty.
Although the road freight company with which Rainbow arranged delivery was a bit off, leaving my order at the local garage/petrol station instead of the given address, the packing was satisfactory -no breakages- and everything turned up promptly. (Bearing in mind this was six years ago, my experience isn't indicative of how things are now). Small packages will be posted.
Rainbow Power Company has been in the alternative energy field a very long time and the information available from them is thorough, if a bit mind numbing sometimes if you are not technically inclined. The web site is comprehensive and very easy to find your way around. I wish more companies were as clear.
In the future when I intend to extend and modify my system I shall return to Rainbow for their excellent service.

This review is for Telstra, Melbourne VIC

Unlike many people who have mobiles I rely on a land line. This is the same line installed when Telstra was AustralianTelecom, back when it was government owned and I got service if something went wrong, instead of being told it must be my handset and warned that it will cost me an arm and a leg if a technician comes out and it is found that I am wrong and it is not the line that is faulty.
I have found the Filipino call centre staff to be very pleasant and obliging but they have a failure to understand what living rural in Australia means and that if my phone goes bung I can't pop in next door to call them about my problem. If I have called with a problem I am many kilometres from home and, no, I am not happy to wait for days to have it fixed.
That said, when nothing goes wrong, like no one has ploughed through the line for instance, it is an okay service except that it is expensive. And I still get pestered by people from the subcontinent and charities wanting donations/sell raffle tickets though registered on the no call register. Of course.

This review is for O'Driscolls Solicitors, Stawell VIC

The office is housed in an old bank building largely unchanged since the nineteenth century but the attitudes, knowledge and technology are right up to date.
This business was our family solicitor for a couple of decades until Bill O'Driscoll retired but I have no reason to change as the new solicitor is conscientious and knowledgeable. The staff are pleasant and supportive, and efficient in my experience. In addition the solicitor is assertive when necessary, and in my most recent case it was since the other parties were rude, selfish and unprofessional.

Dadswell is home to more than the big koala. Thank goodness. Perhaps incongruously but rather wonderfully here you can stop and sup at a wonderful Indian restaurant. The food is delicious, and caters for both vegetarians and coeliacs. The fresh salad was fresh.

This review is for Crystalfix, Huntly VIC

This is a product to repair concrete tank and troughs.

The process is not instantaneous but it is effective. A big plus was that I did not have to empty my tank and thus lose whatever water I had stored. A down side is that it is a bit messy and proper health precautions should be maintained in handling the product but I am pleased with the results.

After 25 years or so the concrete tank we had poured on site began to leak quite badly. Cracks in these tanks are common. I despaired as to how to fix the problem. I researched all sorts of things and tried to think creatively: would it be possible to put a plastic cover inside or sort of plaster it inside? I could find no company that offered any service to fix it. Luckily I found out about Crystalfix which is available locally.

Being of a cynical attitude, especially when it comes to the hyperbole of publicity for products, I purchased the repair kits with a I suppose I'll give it a go attitude but dreading the waste of $130 although Crystalfix asserted it was guaranteed to work, citing the Trade Practices Act 1974 that is the law for products to be accurately represented and sold as fit for the intended purpose.

But it worked just as promised.
