A wonderful little café which is great to have in our local area. The coffee is first class with a nice range of cakes and slices to choose from. With my coffee I had the carrot almond and butterscotch cake which was superb. There is an extensive breakfast menu and also a lunch menu. The shop, although small, is immaculate and well appointed while the service is efficient and very friendly. Although on a busy street, the atmosphere is homely and relaxed. Altogether, a pleasant experience always worth a return visit.

Dropped in for breakfast while travelling interstate. The service was friendly and fast without being rushed and there was a relaxed welcoming ambience inside. The menu is modern and even a little quirky which we loved. The meals were a generous size and very impressive and the coffee was great. We took some of the delicious homemade cakes with us to enjoy on our trip. Probably the thing that most impressed us was the very welcoming and friendly atmosphere provided by all the staff which made our stopover at this delightful little country town even more enjoyable.

Dropped in for a coffee and snack while waiting for a medical appointment. The shop was not very busy but I had to wait 20 minutes for a coffee and a cake slice. When the coffee finally arrived, it was lukewarm and the cake was very average. Would not go there again as there are other good coffee shops in the centre.

We have tried many cooked seafood shops in Brisbane and and have found this one to be the very best. The fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection. We usually ask for the chips to be done crispy and they are always cooked to our liking. The prawn cutlets and calamari are also great. We place our order by phone and the order is always ready to pick up on time. We find this is an inexpensive enjoyable regular Friday night eat-in dining experience.

A small homely coffee shop off the beaten track with a relaxed atmosphere. The coffee is great and the cakes and slices, although only a limited range, are always fresh and delectable. Very friendly service and if you are looking for interesting and informative conversation you will find it here. A good place to unwind with a good coffee and to take a break away from a busy routine.

First time at this casual dining restaurant was a wonderful enlightening experience. Would not have expected such a fantastic restaurant off the main drag in a quiet suburban setting. It is located in a revamped old corner shop and owned by celebrity chef Ben O'Donoghue and his wife Dee. It has a great casual relaxed atmosphere and the service was fast and friendly. It was obvious from the menu, the presentation and taste that the meals are the work of a top class chef and staff. Desserts and coffee were excellent and an impressive wine and drinks list was also available. Definitely a place that beckons one to return.

Our last visit to this Restaurant was very disappointing. There seemed to be a different staff and a totally different menu. We (2 adults) were the first to arrive at our table but had to wait 40 minutes for our meals. I ordered my usual 1 dozen oysters natural for starters although I baulked at the price of $38.50 especially as they were very small and the freshness was dubious. On our previous visit six months earlier, they were $32.50 and very fresh. The fish we had was not very well cooked: quiet dry and unappealing. While this had been one of our favourite seafood restaurants for many years, after this last visit we would think twice about going back.

After renovations at our house, I needed to re-grass an area at the side of the house which had been excavated to lay pipes for our new bathroom. I used Sir Walter turf and it was very easy to order from Twin View Turf by phone. The operator was very knowledgeable and helpful. I ordered my supply for two days forward, but it could have been delivered the next day if required. They sent a text message around 4pm the day before, as promised, to advise approximate time of delivery on the following day. The turf was cut in conveniently sized slabs, delivered on time and placed on the exact spot where I required them by the courteous and efficient delivery driver. The turf arrived in excellent condition, lush and deeply rooted, making it very easy to lay. They even had an information sheet for me on how best to lay the turf as well as a very helpful booklet on lawn management. The end result was I now have a wonderful instant lawn in the required area.

Had three items restored. One was an old sofa with wood and metal frame. The mattress and upholstery had long since gone missing. ABR restored this to new condition with new matching mattress and upholstery. Next was an old meat safe which has been in the family for well over 100 years and was really showing its age. It has been restored to original condition back to the original timber and re-varnished. It now takes pride of place in our new bathroom. The other item was a family heirloom china cabinet also over 100 years old. We thought it was way beyond repair as it had gone through two severe floods but ABR took it on and the finished result was absolutely amazing - way beyond our highest expectations. The items were picked up and delivered back on completion of the work. A great business to deal with; very professional, courteous and A1 workmanship. No hesitation in recommending them for any furniture or upholstery restoration.

Dropped in for a quick coffee and snack. They have table service but had to wait quite some time for it to be served to the table. However it was Saturday morning and very busy as the coffee maker/counter attendant explained. Most of the other customers were having breakfasts which did look scrumptious and do take some time to prepare. When my coffee and muffin did arrive, it was excellent. Probably not the best place to go on Saturday morning for a quick coffee but would be great for a breakfast or lunch if time is not your enemy.
