In store bakery makes visiting a treat with fresh donuts and cakes, the store can be a little cold at times, the staff are generally helpful but they come across as always a little busy. The shelves are always full and the place is suitable for trolleys and prams, so no traffic jams.

Lack of staff can be a problem and with minimal to no parking available, it can be a challenge going in and out. They have a good range and have single unit or serves for those who just stop in for lunch over a break, they have self serve checkouts as well as staffed ones and the self serves are less loud and more encouraging for those who use them, these are better than the big W and Safeway ones.

There is never enough catalogs to go around usually, and it can be hard to find things in your size durring a sale or special, but overall its a good place to shop with quick people on checkouts and durable products

The staff are helpfull and they know what they are talking about, the women in cosmetics actually use the products they recommend and not just say they use these products. The place is clean, with stock usually ordered, they have a wide range and good prices, I like shopping at Big W.

I would expect prices to be less than this for a pie but knowing they make them in store and you can watch them being made through the window is a treat, with the potato pie being the best I have eaten in Bendigo. The place gets packed at lunch times with BSSC kids filling the seats, but the service is never less than organised. More than I would usually pay for a pie

I am happy to announce that hammer street take away are open again, with a limited menu in comparison to there old one, despite this the place is still worth a visit.

the staff are friendly and reliable, the food is good quality, it tastes amazing :) and you d not have to wait too long to eat, open for lunch and take always, if you prefer to take your meal to the park. Parking can be difficult to find at times due to its location, but they are worth walking an extra block or two. comfortable chairs and good air conditioning make it an experience any time of the year.
