Have used various brokers in the past. Peter and his Team are the best out of all of them. They make things simple and far less stressful. Their knowledge of the "landing world" is enormous and they get the job done. On top of their professionalism they are down to earth and very friendly people. Excellent broker. A1+

Tanya and I looked for a good broker after we had problems with our bank. We found Illawarra Mortgage Brokers having good reviews and approached them. Peter and the team exhibited upmost professionalism and skill, and readiness to go extra mile to have the job done promptly; they worked around the clock, stayed in touch all the time, and were extremely supportive. Could not recommend more and ask for better service

I met with Peter and Alex after doing some research online based on reviews, exceptional service upfront and honest from our first meeting. Peter got things moving fast and kept me informed along the way. And showed me all my options rather then the standard cookie cutter approach. I was hesitant at first as I have never dealt with a broker but after the first conversation with Peter I couldn’t not feel more comfortable. Our previous lender could not assist us with the purchase of a large parcel of land, as it was outside of their lending policy, even though we had a home loan with them already. We were recommended to Illawarra Mortgage Brokers by the seller of the land that we wanted to purchase for our family weekend retreat. Our mortgage broker Peter, also suggested that we also look at using a loan combination structure, to maximise savings. The result is that we now have the added benefit of having our interest rate reduced by over half a percent compared to what we had previously. We were kept informed at every step of the way as the team at Illawarra Mortgage Brokers processed our loan with our new lender, from application to settlement. Michael & Elyse, from Oak Flats NSW We want to thank Peter and Aleksandra for all of their hard work in getting our home loans approved. We have purchased two properties using their services and great advice, and to save money on fees, we decided to use a guarantor loan. Peter explained everything in detail, not only to us, but also taking the time to speak in detail with the parents who were assisting us. He made sure that we all understood the process and the benefits of using the guarantor loan, what targets we needed to look at going forward and what it meant for our parents. Everything was easily understood. These types of loans are rarely straightforward and it is good to know you have someone assisting you with the lenders many questions and also making our life easier by being there to assist us with answering the lender. Home loans for people who are self-employed are not always the favorites for the lenders, yet we got a great rate and we also found that nothing was too difficult for Illawarra Mortgage Brokers in dealing with the usual process of a refinance, even though we had business and personal borrowings in the mix. You will find that this business provides an efficient service, know their stuff and that you will always know what is going on with the loan application. The outcome, now that Peter and Aleksandra have completed the work, is that we now have a loan that is much more efficient, saving us some serious dollars from a few different angles and we also have more options going forward for other finance that we may be considering in the future. If you want a mortgage broking business on your side that chases up a better deal, takes care of the paperwork and deals with the banks for you and keeps you updated at all times, then these guys are who you need. Being self-employed, I wanted to save time and choosing these guys did just that. You will find, as we did, that the suggestions and the loans they recommend will make sense and they will only suggest something if it is going to work out to be a better deal for you. Don't muck around with your finance stuff, let the staff at this company know what you want, and they will take care of the rest.

Shane & Andrea, South Hedland, WA We have been dealing with Illawarra Mortgage Brokers since January 2014, and we would like to recommend them to anyone looking for home loan finance. We have found this company to be extremely efficient in providing calculations and structuring ideas for our loan, not just once, but many times, as we worked out what would be our best option. We are in a situation where we are living in Western Australia, and we are buying land to build a home on, in NSW. We have found the whole process easy because we have one point of contact between us and the lender (thank you Pete). Peter has always kept us up to date with what we need to do, and is always making suggestions that make us think about what we need to be doing with our loan. We will be using their services in the very near future to apply for our construction loan - which has already been mapped out and explained to us. If you want to deal with someone who knows a lot about loans, does not charge you fees and is efficient, then you have found the right company.

Adam, Illawarra NSW. I have been using Illawarra Mortgage Brokers for the last 9 years and have lodged a mortgage with them 4 times now (not including the 2 Properties that were not finalized due to property price issues). As a property investor, I like the fact that I have Pete and the team doing all the legwork with the bank, leaving me free to use my time elsewhere Peter takes all the stresses out of the usual mortgage process (of which I have found that the 'others' promote) and keeps me feeling at ease at all times. The eagerness to 'get the job done' is second to none, and I am always kept informed of my mortgage process at all stages, rather than me ringing, being put on hold only to be given the run around (like the 'others'). This time around, I gave Pete a list of things I was offered by another lender and asked if he could match it. He negotiated the list with the lender and actually obtained a better offer again. We got a bigger discount on the rate, no valuation fees at all, for multiple properties, an incentive payment from the lender to switch to them, and a couple of other features I wanted enabled. Admittedly, we had to change the structure a little to achieve the features I wanted but it got done. One phone call from Pete and it was all explained and he set it all up with the lender. If you are considering a refinance or a new loan, please do yourself a favor, save yourself some time and effort and call them. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone, their professionalism and high standard of approach are second to none.

Craig & Diana P, Goulburn NSW Peter from Illawarra Mortgage Brokers organized a loan for us last year. From start to stop we can't say how much we appreciate the help that we got throughout the whole process. We needed several calculations done, due to trying to locate the right property, and we found that we were able to request these calculations and have them done quite fast and sent via email to us. It was very handy not to have to wait to find out what we needed to know. One other point I would like to mention. Our broker Peter asked a few questions about the near future. This allowed him to make some suggestions that were tailored to our needs over the next few years. It shows that they try hard to get you set with the right long term home loan, and to make sure that you have thought about certain consequences to do with your home loan.

Jacob R, Albion Park NSW I have now had 2 home loans through Illawarra Mortgage Brokers and on both occasions they have gone above and beyond and I would like to thank in particular, Meryl and Peter. I was a first home buyer with the first loan when I purchased a unit in January 2012. With a low deposit, they still found me a competitive home loan and they also assisted me with the first home owners grant. They made the whole process hassle free, explained everything and kept me updated with the whole process I then decided to upgrade and buy a house. Obviously I went back to Illawarra Mortgage Brokers for my second loan which was finalized in March, 2014. I will be using Illawarra Mortgage Brokers again if I have any home loan needs in the future and I always highly recommend them to anybody else that I know who wants finance for a home loan. Being self-employed and busy, we found that utilising the services of Illawarra Mortgage Brokers to do all of the legwork, allowed us to have a hassle-free experience. They discussed our home loan options with us, prepared the loan application and then followed through with the lender until approval. This included seeing us after we finished work, for both the loan application and the loan contracts to be signed, which really made this whole process easier. I want to thank Illawarra Mortgage Brokers for their help in refinancing my loan. My own bank were not able to assist me so I contacted Illawarra Mortgage Brokers and asked for their help. I now have a much better loan structure than I had at my previous bank and a lower interest rate as well. I was impressed with the updates on the progress of the loan and it all went smoothly. They don't charge any fees and I would recommend Aleksandra & Peter to anyone who needs finance.
