This review is for The Dread Whisperer, Aldgate SA

The Dread Whisperer creates and maintains dreadlocks, and also does hairwraps. He is an amiable man who is very skilled at bringing unmaintained, matted dreddies back to life. I was very pleased that he came right to my house because it was much better than sitting at a hairdresser for 5-6 hours. His prices are amazing and only 30% of what I've paid at a hairdresser's shop in the past. There were no nasty chemicals or waxes used and I love that my hair is light and soft now. The final look and feel of my hair, after The Dread Whisperer worked his magic, is just incredible. If you want to get dreadlocks, or you want to get old, lifeless dreddies revived, I highly recommend using this service.

If you have a large group of people that you need to feed in Strathalbyn this is the cafe for you. They have seating inside, and outside (under cover), and can cater to 50 people. There is even an area which will keep young children entertained. The servers were lovely to speak with. We let them know the big group was coming through and they even put on extra staff to serve us because they knew we were coming. There are no steps into the cafe or the outside area so it was great for our group, who were elderly and find steps hard to maneuver. It was great to find such a large space in a country town.

My family had a wonderful Sunday lunch at this cafe. We sat inside where there where 3 tables. They offered to push 2 tables together for us but the 4 of us sat comfortably on just one. There were tables outside too, under cover, which can fit up to 20 people. I ordered a kransky, which they normally serve in a roll, like a hotdog, but they were very happy to serve me just the kransky with a side serve of salad. The 2 women were very accommodating, and thought of everything that would make us feel comfortable and welcome, such as putting condiments on the table and checking we had everything we needed. It was such a lovely experience. They also do takeaway, and phone orders are accepted. In the window, was a display of tiered cakes, and they make and decorate these to order. We let them know a date where we'd like to bring a group of 20 people through and they said they would organise some extra special baked goods on that day, as they bake the produce themselves. I think that is awesome!

I have eaten here in a small group and a large group and both times were great. There were a lot of meals to choose from and great prices. There were no problems with orders and staff cleared our table and offered drinks regularly. They were helpful organising a basic meal for me that was not exactly on the menu, and also brought me a side of vegetables for $3. It is a quiet, relaxed place to have a meal.

My family stopped here for lunch and it was very busy, which I consider a sign of a good bakery. However, I felt very uncomfortable because it was so crowded, and it is a very small shop. There were 2 chairs out the front, but occupied, so we had to drive elsewhere to eat. The food was delicious, but I don't think we will be going back due to the long wait.

The food is not the best at this restaurant but the service and atmosphere is amazing. I have been here with different groups of friends and we always have a ball doing the karaoke. It is the highlight of the night. The staff run the place smoothly and quickly and are always smiling and polite.

This is a great cafe to go to at the end of a night out, when most other places are closed. It's busy, even in the middle of the night, which I think makes the atmosphere exciting. It's fun to grab a pie or sausage roll with some friends. The staff are great with serving people and keep things moving.

Sidewalk Cafe make the best double-cut rolls I've ever experienced. The best part is that you choose your toppings from a huge range of ingredients. The variety is amazing. The servers never rush you either. You can take your time choosing your perfect sandwich and when you order they are ready to make it for you with a smile. They are happy to have a conversation with you while they make it too.

I use the Rite Price to bulk up on cheap school recesses and quick frozen meals. There are a variety of snacks to choose from and basic party pies and chips etc for when we don't have time to cook. If you don't mind the use by date being passed it is a lot cheaper than average supermarkets.

A fantastic day out for the whole family. For $6 you can ride the 3 mini trains as many times as you like. The reserve has 3 gazebos, picnic table, benches, playground, toilets, and large grassed areas. The volunteers running the trains were friendly and fun. They were always on top of safety issues and good at assisting passengers on and off the trains and through the gates. I have taken my daughter here alone twice, and also had a birthday party with 12 kids taking the trains. They kept running the trains even when it rained too. I highly recommend this activity.
