Lee is possibly the best hairdresser around. She always manages to make you look good. My husband recently went to her and has vowed never to use anyone else.

Excellent local cafe with possibly the best coffee in Melbourne. The food is good too with very large servings and good quality. Being a vegetarian, the food options are limited but the coffee and drinks are great.

What a great find, this is run by a very friendly husband and wife team and the food is divine. The cakes are amazing and the owner was even kind enough to share his baking tip with me. The food is fresh and very good quality.

I had my second child here under the public system and cannot speak highly enough of the hospital and its staff. The hospital is extremely clean, the staff are competent helpful and very approachable and generally make you feel at ease. I had my first child at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London and whilst the birth was great the aftercare was terrible and the showers and toilets were filthy, Melbourne is very lucky to have such a great public service.

This is a great organic supermarket with a lovely cafe. It stocks a huge range of goods and is pretty much your one stop shop if you are a vegetarian/vegan and like organic food. Shop and then have lunch.

This place has an excellent variety of maternity wear. I initially bought a lot of clothes at Ripe and wish I had known about this place sooner. It is deceptive from the signage and location (just off Hoddle St and in a Warehouse), but the range of stock is amazing and it is really the only place you need to go to for maternity wear, fantastic styles.

This is an excellent asian vegetarian restaurant with a huge variety of dishes and all made with mock meat. Fantastic value for money and very generous servings.

I love mexican food however vegan options are difficult in restaurants. This palce is great with vegan options for almost every dish, great nachos and tofu tacos.

This has been a great veggie place for years. I have been overseas for 6 years and returned to find that this is still a great place and the prices don't seem to have changed either! Fabulous vegan chocolate cake..

This is a salon run by inexperienced very young staff with no personal service. Their colouring skills are terrible, I usually have highlights and really dislike anything that resembles copper or orange which I specified at the outset. 3 hours later I came out with orange highlights, and a very lighter bank balance.
