Properly Good Coffee. That should be enough. A simple hole in the wall coffee shop tucked into the edge of the Doherty's Gym. Open early, consistently good. I am happy to walk out of my way and cross Flinders Street past half a dozen other cafes to get a caffeine fix in the morning.

The hunt for decent Thai food in the area continues. I was very disappointed with the food here, two supposedly different dishes were basically the same version of "Asian Bland" served up with very slightly different ingredients (one with Lemon Grass, One with Ginger). Prices on the high side for the quality, decor basic, no ambiance, quick service and easy to park though but wont bother again.

What a monumental waste of time.

I stood in front of what I went there to buy for 15 mins and was not so much as looked at by a staff member. I walked out and will buy a Dyson elsewhere.

Business must be good to care so little about customer service. Perhaps I didn't look like your typical Brighton customer.

It gets good reviews and if I was rating on convenience alone, it would get top marks but I was a bit disappointed. The dishes were heavily packed out with cheap bamboo shoots instead of fresh vegies, one dish we ordered had peanuts in it when they were not mentioned on the menu (while the kids were not having it, my daughter is highly allergic to peanuts so we dont order take away food with nuts in it).

I would rather jump in the car and drive 10 mins to One Thai in North Balwyn, much higher quality for the same price.

We needed to clean up the house to sell it, I had done two sides myself a few years earlier and never got it finished. Steve came out and did the two remaining sides as well as a freshen up of my job. A lot of preparation was required on the west side where the weatherboards needed to be sanded back completely. He did a great job for a good price and cleaned up after himself.

Happy to recommend. We will get him back when our new place needs any work.

Daniel was a recommendation to me from one of my work clients (commercial builders) as a specialist in exposed aggregate concreting. After our major plumbing works, we had to replace around 100m2 of driveway and carport concrete. We wanted exposed aggregate, a similar colour to the traditional old school pebble mix. We also needed to fix a few bays of footpath damaged by the plumbing. AADB did a great job, the levels were spot on, the finish nice and even and it came out exactly as we wanted.

He can be hard to get depending on how much commercial work he has on but the results are well worth waiting for.

Very happy to recommend.

After accidently buying a house we had not paid much attention to, we discovered the hard way that our entire stormwater system was completely shot and had to be replaced. I got Neil from InSink out and he went over it all and we decided a completely fresh start was not going to be cheap but was the best option for us. Our backyard needed to be leveled as well so we took the opportunity to put in a 5000 litre underground water tank (plumbed to three toilets) and do some extra earthworks to make the block more usable and presentable while the excavator was here. It took a few weeks and had a fair share of headaches (especially for the apprentices digging clay by hand under the house) but at the end we have a great rainwater system for toilets and garden, proper clear drains, a new outlet to the street (as the council had not record of us being connected to the stormwater), 5 concrete pits and no issues when it rains. Water no longer flows through my garage either.
It cost quite a bit more than the original estimate but we did add in the water tank (and pumping that to the toilets) and a vanity in powder room and I decided to go for concrete pits with heavier grates and we also had some roof leaks sorted so I can't complain.

Rob was recommended to us directly as a Handyman. We needed some help with a retaining wall, vegie garden beds some sections of fence and some gates.
His work was first rate, he was very quick to get the work done and his rates are exellent. He also didnt need baby-sitting, I could just give him directions at the start of the day and head off to work and everything was sorted exactly as I wanted. No matter what I needed done, everything was "not a problem".

Happy with the results and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Sam and Renee came when they said they would, did what they said they could (well) at a good price. They were a little cheaper than the other quote I got but not by a massive amount but just turning up and keeping me informed as we went put them way above everyone else I contacted.

We needed about 50m2 of backyard dug down, leveled, prepared for lawn then lawn laid, steppers cut in with all materials supplied. Even though they got stuffed around by suppliers and had to work a public holiday and a saturday to get it finished as well as lots of wheel barrowing due to difficult access, it all got sorted with a minimum of fuss. And they cleaned up afterwards. Yard looks fantastic, wife and kids also very happy.

Happy to recommend.

I picked this business after reading other Womo reviews and was very happy with the result. I didnt have a big tiling job to do (small bathroom repair and a kitchen splashback) but Michael and his father came around and got it sorted quickly and professionally and did a much better job than I would have done myself. Definitely happy to use them again in the future.
