We have been members here for a year now. The group fitness classes are great, with a goood timetable so you can do a range of classes over the week.
The creche is first class, our kids love it, and get upset when we arent there for the creche.
The major complaint would be a lack of parents/family/disability change rooms (there are two, but there is often a 30 min wait to get the kids ready) and the pool water is often very cool, and the kids end up blue
We recently took overseas vistors to the cafe for brunch and a look around the factory.
The childrens menu has disappeared, leaving our kids with a toasted ham sandwich and raisin toast.
The prices were excessive ($18 for a chicken and salad foccacia, no sides at all)
Our kids then played in the play area, but it was filthy and the toys hadnt been cleaned for some time!
Wont be back.
Approximate cost: $20
we have used wotif a number of times, and always been impressed by the savings and ease of use. Its heap easier than contacting hotels individually for bookings, and you can checkout the rooms on line
Started swimming here 9 years ago, when I move down the road. They were still renovating the gyms and indoor pools.
When the gyms opened I tried the gym and group fitness glasses (for the first time ever!!) and they were fantastic. I moved down past Cannington and still drove 30 minutes daily just to go to TTAC, rather than change gyms.
Membership was around $10 a week, for a day (9am-4pm) membership, perfect for mums or students.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. They will always offer advice if you need.
The group fitness classes were my main focus. The majority of instructors were good, but a few really stood out.
Caroline Ross is an instructor for the group fitness, and personal training, and is the best I have ever met. She is great at motivating you, and always watches to make sure that you arent in danger of injury, through poor technique or high weights.
When we move back to WA we will be buying a house close to TTAC again
Approximate cost: $10/week
We had to take our car here, as that's where our insurance (HBF) sent us.
It took them 3 weeks to replace a door handle!
I returned after 3 days, as originally agreed to be told that it wasn't ready, and the car wasn't roadworthy, since they had dismantled the door.
They didnt pre-order the part despite knowing the details a week in advance, and then dismantled the door before they even ordered the part.
I was unable to drive the car and return it once they had the parts, as they were 'too busy' to reassemble the door.
After 3 weeks and 14 phone calls, I was finally able to collect the car.
Never again.
