My friend took me to this restaurant cos she live right next to it and she virtually use this as her canteen, and unless someone take you there, you may not notice that it is a restaurant as it looks like a house - inside and out. And because of that, you feel like you are eating at home, the price is not cheap but not expensive, the food is above average and after a few visits, I notice that the same dish is prepared differently, their response is "it all depends who is the chef on duty" I just think that I should expect the same dish every time I order specially when it is my favourite dish - unless you expect a surprise every time

I like going yum-cha at this restaurant as the food is reasonably priced and has a large variety and the standard of the food is above average, however, the waiting time to get a table at weekend can be hectic, the screaming out of number for the next ticket number is not very professional, suggest they get a better ticketing system

My friend introduce me to this optical shop for my glasses, the optometrist is very friendly and help me to finally get my contact even though I have convinced myself that I can never wear contact lens. Their selection of frames is not great, but if you can give them the model number, they can order it for you and match whatever price you get from other provider - but hey, I dont need glasses any more, I am now wearing contacts

This medical centre was closed for a while and only just re-open, my husband visit them and was very impressed so I went and give it a try. The place is more organise than the previous practice . the girl at the reception is very friendly and helpful and the lady doctor I saw is very caring and very knowledgeable and take the time to explain lots of things to me. As it is still pretty new, so I don't need to wait for long, but I think soon it will be different when more people find out about their re-opening

I always go to this local chemist for my prescription, not only because it is convenience as it is right next to the train station, but because the chemist always take time to explain to me on how to take the medication, which I find it very rare with other chemist who just hand you the prescription and ask you to read the label. I have once wait for about 10 minutes while the chemist is trying to explain to another old lady regarding her medication, I am happy to wait seeing that they show a lot of caring for older people.

I was looking for some material to repair a beloved dress which is too good to throw out, it is almost impossible to find a fabric shop nowadays, I was surprised to find this shop near the train station, the shop assistance is very helpful in giving me advice on getting the right material that match my dress without me going thru the piles and piles of material there.

I always service my car with the car dealership, but my friend suggest me to give this one a go, seeing that it is close to home, I give it a try and was impressed with the service they provided. Not only do their price is much cheaper than I normally pay at the dealer, they did a much better service than I normally get. I am happy to introduce them to all my other friends.

It is a small Japanese restaurant that you may miss it if you walk too fast on Bathurst St, however , you will get great value for your money and I promise you once you try it, you will keep coming back. Their all you can eat lunch and dinner menu is the best value I have ever seen after been to so many Japanese Restaurant. The seating is not great, but the value make it all worth.

I go there regularly for breakfast as their 2 for 1 voucher is always available on the website. The breakfast menu is not restricted to only bacon and egg and the serve is very large and can fill you up so you don't really need lunch.

Approximate cost: $14
