I was very impressed with the quality of the food when we ate there recently. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana with a side of broccoli. It was filling and very tasty. There are not a lot of tables inside but it is good for a small group wanting to have a relaxed dinner. Very clean interior. Highly recommended. Very tasty vegetarian food.

Biryani House is not very big but we went on a Sat night so I booked for a table of 7. They had no empty tables - so quite busy and people were in and out all night having ordered take away. They were by no means quiet so I take it they are fairly popular!
My family and I were actually very impressed with the quality of the food. They had a lot of different rice and Indian breads to choose from. The quality of the lamb and chicken in their curries was of great quality...no fatty bits that you usually find. The service was quite quick, they had all 7 meals out in 20 minutes. And the cost was excellent...total for 7 of us was around $90. This included about 6 different pots of rice, 6 different curries and biryani and a different assortment of naan breads as well as drinks.
It does have more of a takeaway feel than a restaurant due to the small space inside. We will definitely return though. Were happy with the service too. Was a fairly simple night out.

This place made me fall in love with Thai food. Just around the corner from Monash Uni. I absolutely love their green curry. Have never had a bad meal there. It is small inside but fine decor if you ask me. Nothing flash but it is not so much a restaurant but more a take away.

My sister had her wedding here in 2006 and I am surprised by the ratings. Management was very accommodating to the special dietary requests we had. They also went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It is an old reception centre, so there are going to be areas which need to be fixed up. But it does add to the old style look and feel of the place. It has a spacious dance floor and easily accommodated for the 300 guests. A few months later someone else we knew also had their wedding there and again it was fantastic.

I went there for dinner (5 of us) last Friday night. We made a booking and by 7.30pm the place was pretty full. The entrees were delicious. We didn't order a banquet but each ordered a main meal. I had the prawns which were delicious. Everyone else really enjoyed their meal too. Very nice atmosphere and ambiance. A good restaurant for a special night out. Ended up being about $45 per person for entree, main and soft drinks.

I often pop in when I am in the area visiting relatives. They have really fresh tasting seafood and the chips are always cooked so well. The hamburgers and souvlakis taste home made. The fish and chips are not greasy and they don't have an oily after taste.

We had a group booking there (20 people) and sat upstairs. The service was excellent. Our waiter really took care of our table and made sure he spoke to us about our orders etc. I was quite happy with my dinner. It tasted lovely. The prices are perhaps on the more expensive side. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. I asked everyone in the group about their dinner and if they were happy. Only a couple were not very happy. Other thing is, the food is very chilli! One of the group asked for mild prawns but they were very hot. So don't expect mild unless you order something like the prawns and vegetables with rice.

Great ambience. Great set up. Great menu. But was disappointed with slow service. And the cashew mylk used as the base for the hot chocolates has a taste which I felt spoilt it for me. Next time I might need to see if I can get cows milk instead! Also the sour dough used as the base for desserts also gave me a taste I didn't enjoy.

We were recommended this place by a friend. So 5 of us ordered the Vegetarian Banquet for $19 per person. The service was really quick and the food was really tasty. For the banquet we got 3 entrees and 5 mains (rice and various curry type dishes) with a small salad and some Tibetan bread. It was really quite delicious and filling. We ended up going back again about 5 weeks later. Will definitely go again.

Paul did major work on our house which included installing downlights to the whole house and also installing outdoor lights and extra powerpoints. Paul is honest and prompt. He is always on time and gets back to you quickly when you leave a message. He has a fantastic business. He is also very professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
