Da Angelo's is our choice for Italian food in Hobart whenever we have mainland guests. It was also our local pizza place even when we lived on the eastern shore! It's much improved since they renovated recently and there's a quiet area upstairs now too. Like a really good seafood risotto? Then try theirs!

Jackman and McRoss is our favorite place for lunch or a coffee. We always get quick, friendly service and leave with one of their bread loaves - usually the wholemeal high-top under our arm because it's the best bread in town. You can also get Spelt loaves on the weekend.

Ci Simon's always the place we - my wife and I - end up buying good quality clothes - for every day wear or dress. Yesterday she bought a pair of skants that make her look really....hot! And while I was waiting I got to try the salesman's new iPad!
