My son was diagnosed with Autism and had speech delay, so I found Creative Steps in Werribee on the internet.
First, I was charged just under $400 for a 20 minute sit down interview without my autistic son present. Then, the lady who interviewed me, passed the information from the interview onto another theraphist whom neither I or my son had ever met, and she then passed the info onto the speech theraphist who saw me and my son the following week.
On the first speech theraphy session, the therapist went straight into a session without any of my input. Didn't ask me anything about my son or his issues. I thought she would at least discuss the information of the (expensive) interview with me or show some interest in getting to know my son and his areas of concern. She would just write a couple of point form comments of very obvious stuff like 'can't request things' handed the sheet of paper to me and said 'see you next week'.
It took me five sessions to realise it was a complete waste of a large chunk of my sons FaCHSIA funding and he and I got absolutely nothing out of any of the sessions. Every week was an exact repeat of the previous week and the main conversations with me was to get me to sign off on the dotted line to drain my sons precious funding. No goals were set, no sense of direction, no anything.
The reason I didn't back out sooner was because I felt compelled by the financial commitment I had already made in the initial consultations. I now know where they got the name. Creative Steps in draining your childs Autism Funding.
Thankfully, after this horrid experience, we now found an excellent speech therapist who has been outstanding.

This supermarket has such a large percentage of out of date stuff that it should be called NQR instead of IGA. I have complained a number of times to the shop owner about items I've purchased that were a year or more past the expiry date and he acts like he cares and will do something about it. The next day I go back to check and the same items are there with the full retail price on it. The owner simply does not care and his staff are trained to say 'oh sorry about that' but that is all they will do. They are ripping people off. If you go to this store, I can guarantee you 100% you will find something that is out of date in the first few seconds you enter the store. It is that bad. The ice-creams at the front of the store are about a year out of date.

I can't say this place was cheap and nasty, because the prices were not cheap, just the food was nasty. We were treated like a number and felt very unwelcome. The waitress looked annoyed when we asked her for a high chair and then went and got it and just left it by our table and walked away. The food was very average compared to its high prices. My chicken parma was very small, was burnt on one side, had a very small portion of vegetables and the drinks were very expensive also. That was the first time and last time we go here.

This La Porchetta restaurant is much different to the last ones I've been to. It is the most child friendly restaurant I've been to. The kids play area is great!!! I normally worry about my toddler running off and disturbing the other customers but here I was very relaxed knowing my boy was in a secure play area where we could see him through the glass windows. The lasagna I ordered was nice and the service was good.

I love the cakes in this place. They have very professional looking and tasting cakes here. If I need a good cake for $30, I have to get it from Moka. They also have nice masterchef style macaroons!!! yum!!.
It would be nice if the place was a little more child friendly but it definitly serves it's purpose as a good quality cafe.

I ordered a Chicken Schnitzel in a roll at 10am and was very disappointed. The chicken schnitzel was so dry it was like plastic. There is no way this schnitzel was cooked on the same day. The bread roll tasted like it was baked yesterday morning as it was very hard. I couldn't eat it. I won't go back there.

I ordered 6 calamari rings after seeing their fresh calamari in their refrigerated display window. I ended up getting six fried fake calamari rings. They went out the back and got some frozen processed packet of fake calamari rings which tasted more like low grade fish molded into rings and deep fried. One bite and I threw the rest out. I didn't get what I paid for. The ones I saw on display were just there for looks. False marketing.

I like this fish and chips shop because they are the only fish and chips shop that makes prawn burgers. I love their prawn burgers!!
The only negative I can say is to check the used by date on the drinks, apart from that, I wouldn't go to any other fish and chips shop in Wyndham.

Was very surprised at the quality and value of the food here. They had a $10 lunch time menu. My husband and I were very impressed. I ordered a Chicken Kiev and my husband ordered Chicken Parma which were both faultless. The Chicken was so juicy, succulent and tasty. I've never tasted a perfect Chicken Kiev before. It was well worth the wait.
For $10 we were expecting very average food compared to other more expensive restaurants we had been to, but we hit the jackpot with this one.

I ordered a Chicken Mignon (priced at $22.50) and was very dissapointed. The Chicken breast was so dry and hard, you could tell it had been cooked the previous day and kept in a warmer for the whole day before it came to my plate. The outer skin of the chicken was like plastic. I took one bite and spat it out. It was that bad. For $22.50, i was expecting something cooked fresh but I got the opposite. Not happy.
