This review is for Cake Bitz, Southport QLD

Down at Southport for work so popped into the Centre and found this place as I was after a drink. Wow how could you not miss this place.its so bright and colourful, pastel blue and pink features with the most beautiful white lace chairs I have seen. Huge selection of cakes, slices etc, hot meals, big selection of hot drinks and some of the best personal service I have experienced. Received a call half way through my time there so had to head off ASAP so they went out of they're way to make me a new hot drink in a takeaway mug (didn't have to pay for it) and popped my muffin into a lovely clear holder for me to take away. Such nice people, worth the visit

Have been taking mum here for years since her cancer. As she's a total bookworm, I found it a great place for her to just chill, read a book and have a cuppa with endless chats. She has practically a whole library of books in her house so this place is perfect to trade books and they even have loads of 2nd hand and new books to purchase. The service is great and very personal, and the slices/cakes are scrummy. On the first floor of Westfield Garden City ...

This review is for Grill'd, Brisbane QLD

My daughter took me here for lunch as I had never been to a Grill'd before, went up the escalators in the Wintergarden area and there is Grill'd. What a great place to have lunch or dinner especially on Friday night when the Mall is buzzing. It is purely burgers that are served on a wooden slab with pots of scrummy chips. I absolutely loved the place. Busy busy with a really positive vibe. Loved my meal and there is a bar where you can get your own drinks if you want. Small tables for 2, round tables up the front or long wooden tables for groups on the first floor overlooking the Mall. Great setup ..

We were invited here for the first time for a friends birthday so being the seafood fanatics that we are, it was a no brainier. We all decided to order different fishes and flavours to try each one as we had never been before. Mum was also impressed as they had a gluten free menu. We had a variety of crumbed, battered and grilled fish and they were deelish!! The beer battered chips were so tasty and some had rice instead of chips. My Thai salad was really nice and a decent size instead of just bunny food. Great drinks service, never had empty glasses and ALL food arrived hot which was a change. A busy atmosphere as there was a lot of diners but that was fine as we had a group booking. And I noticed they have a takeaway order system as well. Great night had by all. Thanks

This review is for Food Fantasy, Broadbeach QLD

28 May 2013

We have loved our buffet meals for years as my husband and teenagers eat like trucks lol. Food Fantasy at Jupiters Casino is definitely worth the visit. We always try and make a night of it by doing the dinner buffet then seeing a show, or staying overnight and waking up to the buffet breakfast. They do breakfasts, lunch and dinners and also the best Seafood Buffets on Fridays and Saturdays. Its not cheap but there is just sooo much to choice from, great variety and the staff are always helpful, especially if you need a special order, certain foods etc. Make room for their yummy desserts as there are heaps to chose from. Please book though as its always busy.

Definitely a very different fashion shop, not for the mainstream teenager lol. Beautiful little cottage on the corner of The Gallery Walk. OMGosh when you walk in there is so much to look at. Certainly clothes for the mature lady stocking designer brands from overseas, great jeans for the young lady, loads of specials, great jewellery for weddings and formals including diamanté jewels. I took my mother and 18yo daughter, I was quite surprised that my daughter had a ball in there appreciating some very quirky and eccentric clothing. She spotted this AMAZING gown that was displayed as the centrepiece of the shop and said that's it, that's what I've been looking for my Formal. It looked so so off but when she put it on ... Wow wow and wow. Anyway if your stuck for the beautiful cocktail dress or unique Formal dress, this is the place, definitely worth a look. And now they have added a Men's section of clothing. There's no rubbish or cheaply made clothing in this store. Great service and always busy ..

My friends have been going here for years, they religiously go every fortnight with their family. So we got a group together for a night time meal. Service was ok for a busy night, the young girls really struggled with people wanting their meals. We had 12 people and meals all arrived roughly at the same time which was good. I had Crispy Prawns which were yum, others had fried fish and chicken and everyone was happy with their food. Nice environment, lovely meals, very noisy when busy which is the norm these days, but could definitely work on their Staff's service skills, so many mistakes..

This review is for Chris Knight Physiotherapist, Daisy Hill QLD

25 May 2013

Amazing physiotherapist is all I can say for this Practice. After being involved in a serious Hit and Run car accident over 10 years ago, I really struggled with post pain surgery. I must have visited at least 6 physios until I found Chris. Had results within days (finally), he is very thorough with his diagnosis on patients and does regular rehab programmes. Specialises in Sports Physiotherapy having been involved in major sporting teams around Aust. Book in though, always busy.

This review is for Entertainment Books, Hawthorn VIC

23 May 2013

Have been buying the Entertainment Book ever since my kids were at school. There are absolutely hundreds of places to eat and visit etc. We now have our regular eating places mainly because of this book. We always use the "buy one get one free" offer. There are free or cheap movie tickets, half price goods and cheap accommodation. The only draw back is we never get to use all the Vouchers as there are so many. Great idea for new people in the area that the book covers. Definitely worth the money, plus a lot of places sell them to raise funds etc.

This review is for Felicity's Vintage And Cafe, Eagle Heights QLD

23 May 2013

The beautiful quaint building was what caught out eye. Thinking it was just a shop, we popped in and noticed they sell everything from beautiful vintage and retro clothing (which my daughter loved), loads of antiques and general knick knacks. Once finished, we sat on the verandah and had tea, coffee and the most yummiest slices ever. Really lovely people serving and a nice view. Out of the 3 cafes we went to for a cuppa, this was the best priced ..
