Came here for dinner with friends. Their jap chae was excellent, though the service was quite small. Also enjoyed their seafood pancake. We also ordered some hotpot and bbq items. While it's definitely cheaper than other Korean bbq places, I feel the servings weren't as big.

Was in the area and visited to try their famous strawberry and watermelon cake. Tasted good, but not as good as I've heard (though the good reviews I've heard came from their Newtown shop). Service was a bit sketchy too - I had to wait 10 minutes for a fresh batch of the cake to be made, which was fine. But when it was brought out, they served people who had come after me first, and also put my order on plates for eat-in instead of takeaway like I'd asked, then when they realised their mistake, dumped my plated cake into boxes and didn't give me a bag or cutlery like they did with other customers. Not sure if I'd return to this shop, might give Newtown a go, though.

Have been here a few times for their afternoon specials, and while their sushi tastes good and fresh, for afternoon specials it's still a bit overpriced, and service is a little hit and miss. I've found staff can take quite a long time to notice you at the counter.

My favourite coffee is a white chocolate mocha, which can be hard to find at all cafes, and when you do it can be pretty expensive. This place does a perfect rendition of it, and at a decent price. Lovely service, and very efficient as well despite the constant line in the mornings.

Tried their crab fried rice, which was delicious and a healthy portion - pleasantly surprised with how much crab meat was in there. However, service was very rude (and I am very used to the abrupt service you can get at Asian takeaways). I ordered a drink with my meal, as the sign said there was a $1 drink special with "any main meal", but was charged $3 instead. Queried this and was told my ordered main did not qualify for the special, so I said I no longer wanted the drink - staff member let out a loud sigh and was very disgruntled about it. Disappointing as that fried rice was really yummy, but don't think I'd go back.

Bought pork rolls from here in the mornings, and in terms of the product itself, it came on a delicious warm fresh bread roll, however the shopkeeper was very stingy with toppings/fillings, and for the price and size, their pork roll is very overpriced. Service can also be quite slow even when it's not busy (I'm always mindful of the service time, as I come here on the way to catching a train, and there have been times when I've had to abandon my purchase because service was too slow and I would have missed my train). Other items do seem reasonably priced, but the pork roll is definitely yummy but not worth it.

Previously across the road at 99 Mount Street, this place now has a space of their own and the consistently yummy food and super friendly staff hasn't changed. Completely stand by their authentic Malaysian food. They also do $5 breakfast congee, which comes in a huge bowl.

Cheap, cheerful and efficient. Good tasting pork rolls for $5 with quite a number of meat options (traditional pork, lemongrass pork, grilled pork, etc) and the choice of white or wholemeal bread, and a decent enough menu of other hot items and Vietnamese staples like pho, etc. What I'd call a simple, 'authentic' ambience, but you're here for the cheap tasty food.

A little pricey (though pretty standard for the North Sydney area), but their sandwiches are sizeable and taste awesome! I fondly call this place 'the magical sandwich shop' - they have a big range of gourmet sandwiches, and all the ones I've tried are yum. Made fresh to order too.

Have bought a few pork rolls from here now, and they're the cheapest you can get in North Sydney ($4.90) and tick all the boxes for a good pork roll. They also have $4 bacon and egg rolls in the morning, and a decent range of other lunch baguettes and rice paper rolls. Great choice for an affordable lunch if you're in the area.
