I had my car serviced at phil drivers last friday, a friend told me I should take my car in to him for services and he was fantastic, he even let me know that I needed to get my tyres looked at as I needed new ones which I hadnt even noticed because I am hopeless with cars. I will be taking my car to him all the time from now on, the price was less than I normally pay for services and he has a waiting room if you need to wait for a while.

I took the car to jax quick fit on Tuesday this week, I needed two new tyres as the others were quite worn. I only rang the day before for an appointment and they were happy to fit me in. I waited happily in the waiting room which is nice and a good place to fill in the time, the tyres were about $100 each and the service was very good.

I went to Apollo medical practice six weeks ago, as I needed a repeat for a prescription that I take all the time, I was slack and thought that I had a repeat in the cupboard, however I didn't. I went to Apollo and they fix me in and got a doctor to see me, he was fine and gave me the script that I needed, you do need to be prepared to hang around for a while till you get seen. There is plenty of parking and more next door at mcdonalds if you need it. They bulk billed me and the whole thing was very convienient.

I had a chicken and salad when I was at the sunshine plaza last week to do some shopping. I thought that it was a really healthy meal, made more so because I had water with it. I found the chicken salad wrap was quite filling, and tasted very nice. There were a lot of wraps and salads to choose from, I havent tried any of the others yet, they looked good though.

I have been to Sizzler at maroochydore on a number of occasions, most recently for a birthday celebration for family last month. I always get the salad bar and don't worry about paying the extra for steak etc, I always find that therenis heaps to eat without paying the extra for steak etc. I have found the range of food and the quality to be good and always enjoy eating here. The staff have always been friendly too. I find it to be quite hood value for money.

I often go into this book shop and usually buy something, I most recently walking past last week and saw a cook book on display which I ended up going into the shop tomsee and ended up buying. I have found that they have a good selection of books and I have almost always been able to find what I was after here. There have been a few times when I have had to ask one of the girls if they stocked a book that I couldnt find and they were great and were able to find it on the shelf for me. I think they mot have had a name change recently, but I dont take much notice of those kinds of things

I love this bakery, I often get a pie for lunch from here, I got a peper pie from here three days ago, they are your regular bakery prices and are delicious, they have heaps of flavours, the peper one is my favourite, but all the ones I have had are nice. It does get busy during lunch, which I figure is because the food tastes great and it is popular. The staff have always been friendly to me too.

I had hospital and extras cover with a different provider. However I thought I should look around for a better deal. I was happy with the extras cover that I already have, however I wasnt happy with the hospital cover. I rang bupa and the service was unreal, I was able to do everything over the phone. The guy I was talking to gave me his email and said that I could contact him if I had any questions. I did email him and was amazed that I got a reply in less than five minutes. I ended up changing the hospiatl cover to bupa, they were $13 a month cheaper and I get the second month free too which was great.

I love tahe optical superstore, it is now the pnly placeI will go to buy my glasses, the ones that I got in Feb this year cost me about $30 out of pocket as they are the members choice for medibank private, so if you have extras cover glasses are really cheap, that was for single vision lens though, not sure how much multifocals etc are. I have also found that they have a really big range and that the staff are very efficient and know what they are talking about.

I have been to tenkate to buy dirt for new garden beds, I have also been there to buy pebbles to cover the garden with, they have just moved, I was there last week and borrowed their courtesy trailer and filled it up with the pebbles that I wanted. They are now kind of behind hungry jacks at caloundra. I like the factbthat you can borrow the trailer or they will deliver whatever you buy for a reasonable fee. Very happy
