Needed to re-key all the locks at my place (some double some single (barrel)), the locksmith advised me which would be the cheapest way to go about it, and in the end, I came to his shop. I was charged about $15 per single barrel and $30 per double. Saved about $230 in my case. Waited for about an hour (There are plenty of shops and a library close by while I was waiting).

Approximate cost: $170

Sam and his assistants did a wonderful job to our iron roof, fixing and painting, all for a very reasonable price (lower than all the other quotes we got). So happy with his work, that we asked his help in painting our weather board house, (which he did very well too). We have asked him to fix and paint the tile roof of our investment property next. We have full confidence in Sam and his company SAS Painting Services.

John from JELEC helped us out in a kind of emergency situation after we were tricked by another electrician (we were forced to pay an extra $400 if we wanted them to finish a specific job, which we refused when we realised that we were conned). Considered the way John from JELEC calmly handled the situation without charging us extra, we have been grateful to him since.

He has since, become our great friend, and continued helping us out with all our electrical needs at a lower charge with respect to what we often had to pay to other electricians.

We have passed his phone number to our friends, and they in their turns, pass his number to their friends. Everyone seems to be very happy with the way John work (and charging).

Hope that John will continue help out others who happens to be in desperate need of a genuine and caring electrician.

This review is for Leonid Babira. All Type Of Plastering Jobs, Bentleigh VIC

Our house in Caufield is old. Some places needed a plasterer very desperately but we just could not find a plasterer who wanted to do the job. (They considered the job to be small). One turned up, only to use force to damage our walls more and wanted $2000 so that he could fill up any hairline cracks he could find in the house (which either we or any painters could do before painting).

Found Leonid Babira's phone number (9557 3480) from the yellow pages, and tried out, only because his ad was for "all type of plastering jobs", but we did not expect him to turn up at all, since it was too close to Christmas time.

He promptly turned up as arranged with us, and quoted less than $300 for all the walls which desperately needed tender loving care from a good plasterer. And within a few hours, he fixed up all the trouble walls to our amazement (he had to return a few days later to sand them back).

We were so grateful to Leonid Babira, we believed that he was sent to us from God above (if there is a God at all).

Our thanks to Leonid Babira, and we hope he could help others too.

Need to change all the locks (the internal) of the house we just moved into, but after asking around, all the quotes we got seemed to be very high, from $60 per lock, to $125, GST not included. From this website, I tried Larner, and got a very reasonable quote, he charged $75 for the call out fee, and $16 per barrel (to anyone who is ignorant like me, deadlock has 2 barrels). So I paid only $200 or so for all the locks we have in the house, my husband was real impressed with me (no, I did not lock him out or anything when he returned from work).

Grateful to Larner Locksmith, Lyn from Caufiled

Got a window & a door need to be fixed, as well as a side fence done, but could not find anyone who would come to do the job for us. From this website, I confidently contacted Jeanette (the wife), and Bill promptly called me back, arranged the time for the quote. The quote was even cheaper than what our real estate agent guessed, so we happily asked Bill to go ahead. Within a day and a half of contacting Bill and Jeanette, all of our problems re: window, door, fence, gone! My husband and I are very grateful to them. I have already passed Bill and Jeanette's phone numbers to our friends (they asked for the numbers after hearing my good experience from Woody's Handyman Service).
