The Mitcham Hotel is a good venue to catch up with friends. We like to go to the trivia on a Tuesday night.

I go to Biba in Forest Hill for my hair. The quality of the hair dye is fantastic and it lasts for ages.
I get my hair cut by Phoenix, she is a very good cutter.

We went to Majenta in June 07. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meal and the larger then normal serving size. It was surprisingly inexpensive and the ambiance was lovely. We had an entree and a main and it was way too much food!

We went here in July 07. We had a voucher for 25% off (which you can download from their website!), which made it a great deal. Normally I think Mexican is overpriced, but with the 25% off I was very impressed. Food was very nice.

Ruth was absolutely fantastic. I went to a few different florists for our wedding flowers. My appointment with Ruth was fantastic. She asked a lot of questions, and made some great suggestions for our wedding flowers. On the day they looked amazing. Everyone commented on them. They were so fresh. The make up artist told me that she has worked on weddings where Ruth was involved before, and thought she was the best florist she has ever seen. My jaw dropped when I saw the price, so much cheaper then anywhere else I had been quoted.

We had Vanessa and her husband for our wedding in Nov 06. They were great, very accommodating. We chose them above other wedding photographers because they were down to earth, and we got along with them very well. It was not a stressful day at all, we could all have a good laugh.

I use the Ticket Place whenever I need tickets for a musical, theatre, concert or sporting event. So far there is nothing they haven't been able to get me tickets for.
They only deal in good seats and the service is excellent. Don't have to wait for ages on the phone.

Sophie was our obstetrician for the birth of our first baby. She is very helpful. Loved having the untrasound machine at every visit. Really put my mind at ease that yes there really was a baby there (hard to believe sometimes!).
The cost is minimal compared to what some of my friends have paid for an obstetrician.

We have taken our dogs to Vermont Value Vet for the past 3 years. From the moment you walk in there, the receptionist welcomes our dog by his name, and gives him a lot of attention and pats. When we go into the vets room they are also very welcoming of our dog. When he requires a needle they always put dog treats on the ground to distract him, and he doesn't even notice the injection. it is very cute to watch, as our dog thinks going to the vet means getting treats. He sits up straight while the vet prepares the injection, waiting for his treat.

I go to vegie bar on a regular basis. I always find the staff friendly and efficient. The meal sizes are large and are very tasty.
