This review is for OXFORD SOCIAL, Darlinghurst NSW

Excellence at a reasonable price can still be had. Oxford Social is a marvelous surprise, the service is superb the food Divine, very good quality sensations that with every bite leave you blissful. The tables are a good size and the seating very comfortable. We were lucky to get a table as this is the in and happening place, only open 7 weeks its seems word of mouth really works, and when something is as excellent as this place it is no wonder they are so busy.

Right in the heart of Oxford street, Oxford Social is the lifelong passion of Michael and Lola and that passion carries through to every thing, the earthy warm atmosphere, the great art on the wall, many done by Lola, the amazing bar built by Michael, and brilliant chef, have culminated in this superb Restaurant.

But what really is just marvelous is the menu and the tantalizing taste sensations of the meals. Behind this menu has been allot of years of experience a passionate and excellent Chef, and they have created some of the very best food I have had the pleasure to eat. Everything is marvelous, the combinations of flavours amazing, every bite and real delight. Modern Australian encompassing the cultures of Europe and Asia, utilizing the the freshest products from the markets to bring together the delights I enjoyed. There is a very good mix for Vegetarians and the meat eater and very pleasant combinations.

A very good wine selection, spirits and delightful cocktails just make an all encompassing brilliant service and food experience.

Approximate cost: $Between $10 to $30

This review is for Arcadia Bar, Redfern NSW

What I do know is a good bar when I'm in it, and walking home today from my office in Redfern, I turned into the Wonderful and Marvelous, Cope Street, a great Street with some amazing designer apartment buildings, of this up and coming area, and Discovered this Bar, The Arcadia Bar, which makes for a very fine new addition to Cope street.
The Arcadia Bar is a life long dream of David and his Business partner, and they have brought together all their experiences and created a restful, peaceful place to have a drink, lots of recycled wood and deep earth tones with comfortable seating, candles on the tables make this a lovely place. The service is fast and friendly, they have an excellent range of drinks nearly everything, wines, beers Australian and imported and some very nice Apple ciders. They will also make up your Favourite mixer, and have a small range of snacks to satisfy.

I have personal fond memories of the name Arcadia, it was my favourite P&O cruise ship. In European Renaissance art, Arcadia was celebrated as an unspoiled, harmonious wilderness. This Bar has that feel, it's unspoilt, feels in harmony with its neighbours, and the decor is earthy and woody. All in all this is a great adition to our local area, a marvelous retreat after a day in the office dealing with whinny, moaning and groaning people, and that's just my colleagues.

So if your in Redfern, Why not drop into Arcadia for a drink, I'll be the good looking bloke that many have made the mistake of thinking I'm Brad Pitt, sitting in the corner and we will have a drink to Celebrate, this my 200th Review.

This review is for Kentucky Fried Chicken, Nambour QLD

This sites reminds me on occasions of the type of thing that happened to The Great God of Chicken, Colonel Harland Sanders himself. Harland Sanders, Made a Colonel by the Govenor of the state in 1935, owned a Motel in Corbin some town in the USA, where he developed and made his Famous and divine Chicken with 11 different herbs and spices. Truckies and travellers in the early 30'sthrough to 50's made it a regular stop as it was better than any fried chicken they had ever tasted. But the Motel and cafe attached went broke when a huge bypass was built and the town was relagated to Ghost town, by 1952. This is like the story of Nambour, a new Bypass took all the traffic heading North, tourists truckies, off the roads of Nambour when it bypassed the town, this traditional looking site had to take a good hard look at how they did business and how could they survive.
Like the Mr Sanders in the 50's they had to think outside the box. So many people contacted Harland Sanders as people were asking and talking about this great chicken, that on a hand shake he supplied to these truck stops and cafes his secret recipe and he did all on a business share which lead to the birth of the franchise business, by 1964 he owned over 500 of these mutual agreement restaurants and was in charge of delivering from central warehouses the secret recipe coating and salads and chicken pieces.

Ok sorry about the History but I love this inspirational tale, But God can move mountains and he did. Nambour aproached local schools and funded carnivals they turned around the locals thinking, of this Golden fried delight, and they won them over, by support from KFC, this led to the support of the locals of KFC and the business grew again, servicing locals and becoming a large generator of employment and Charitable donations. This is a wonderful store and they do a marvelous job living and breathing KFC into the community. I love when I get up to my Holiday House at Noosa and go and see relatives in Nambour, as buckets of Nambour Friendly KFC is always on the cards.

This is a Brilliant KFC Franchise serving delicious, tasty and scrumptiuos Chicken, but that certainly goes without saying, It is KFC after all.

The menu is vast and the selection very good theres all your favourites and some other things to explore. The service is fast and effiecient and if you would be in a lunch rush I am sure you would be back in the office in good time. I was on a working meeting lunch but we were all very happy with the food. They have alcohol service though we didnt have it. This restaurant has a great location and a lovely internal atmosphere, and its handy to everything being central CBD Sydney.
We had Ala Carte but they also do YumCha.
Excellent very happy overall.

It appears time does heal, and this restaurant must have gone through a transformation, as the service was great, and the staff all very friendly. It also has an excellent menu, the food was very nice, its what I would describe as up market Chinese food so its a nice place to relax and get some decent servings with a nice cold drink.
The outside is lovely place to sit and watch the colourful goings on of China Town Sydney. Overall a very nice restaurant and a good time had by partner and family.
