Great value eggs - trays of 20 Jumbo eggs (most of them double-yolkers) for $6.00. Hours 9-5 during weekdays but also closed 12-12:30 daily (I suppose they have to have a lunch break!) Also have trays (20) of free range for $7.

We just love this place when we come up from the country. It's Vietnamese street food at its finest - the Chicken Curry is to die for and the entree Prawn and Chicken Rice Paper Rolls are fabulous. Love their method of taking orders - you write your own choice, so if something goes wrong with the ordering (rarely does), it's documented.

Do come here for lunch - although the meal sizes have reduced the meals are great and such a big choice from their lunch menu. The first time we came we had to ask for "doggie bags" so they have probably realised that they were sending almost as much home as was being consumed in the premises.

This review is for Warragul Thai Bar & Restaurant, Warragul VIC

This restaurant was SENSATIONAL! We love our Thai food and this restaurant couldn't be faulted, including the service. The taste buds tingled although we felt we had to go for a long, long walk around Warragul before we could fit in the car afterwards, we were so full. The portions are very generous and not being big eaters, we found that the large rice was just too big. You never know what to order the first time you visit a restaurant - but we know now and we'll definitely be back. There's no comparison in Melbourne - eat your heart out!
Remember to book, especially on a Saturday night - the place was bursting at the seams and the young vibrant staff still managed to smile and keep on top of things.

Don't come here for lunch when you're in a hurry. We weren't, in a hurry that is, but having to wait for an hour for a main meal (curry with chips? - get real) and then a further 20-25 minutes in vain for a piece of chocolate cake that never arrived is absolutely disgraceful. The chef had no sense of urgency - worked on one order at a time, but to be fair he seemed to be by himself in the kitchen, and the bar staff were very laid back, almost horizontal it appeared.

We purchased a 6lt decorative glass drink dispenser and unfortunately the tap leaked. The dispenser proved a great hit with our grandsons, who drank nearly the whole 6 litres on Melbourne Cup Day. We returned the dispenser to House and they refunded the money very cheerfully. They offered to advise us when they would be getting new stock. They did so (which was a surprise in itself) and not only put it away for me, but honoured the fact that we had bought the original when there was a 20% sale on. Great service, lovely staff - definitely the place to shop for kitchen and dining wares.

Despite reading some "ho hum" reviews, we dropped in for lunch. We shared a Mongolian Chicken and fried rice - it was absolutely divine. The waitress was fantastic - looked after everyone quickly (and there was a good lunch crowd too). Recommend this restaurant.

Been here before and the food is out of the world - the mouth-feel after each dish is just amazing. However, and this is a big however, the service left a lot to be desired. We were a table of six and were seated towards the front of the restaurant. A lot of people came in after us in small groups and were seated further back - and they were served well before us, even though we had placed our order. It seemed like a few groups were regulars and they got preferential service and that although the waitress was a very pleasant person, she was the only one serving. This was a Sunday night so the place wasn't actually 'heaving'. All this being said, I'd go again but ask for a seat nearer the kitchen at the back so we could catch the waitresses eye more easily.

This review is for Mordialloc Optical, Mordialloc VIC

I've been using Mordialloc Optical (in its various guises) for a while now and have no complaints. I did go to Specsavers once and regretted it - the staff there definitely don't come up to the high standards I have become used to. So, back to Mordialloc Optical I went when I lost the $600 glasses and wondered if they could fix a bent much-loved pair and do the new prescription (Specsavers said they couldn't) and lo a behold, yes they could, and did!
